Phew. It’s been a busy {and hot} month!….February saw us completing our Lighthouse Road, Byron Bay metal roofing project for Atlanta Building, and what a shame it was to say goodbye to those views. But it was time to put the finishing touches on a few smaller Byron Bay metal roofing projects and get started on restoring the iconic heritage building of The Balcony Bar & Oyster Co.
Situated in the heart of the town’s hustle and bustle, the Balcony Bar resides in one of Byron Bay’s last remaining historical buildings. Given, the age, condition and ongoing problems, it was time to replace the damaged roof exterior with a quality new Byron Bay metal roof, built to last the elements.
Given the nature of the location, a well organised traffic management plan, permit from council and use of a crane was all implemented along with installing our own safety guardrail and banner, preventing anything falling onto the footpath below. A buzzing atmosphere also means a busy one with locals and tourists alike enjoying the streets and eats of Byron Bay so much care was taken to ensure all trades adhered to safety procedures.
We look forward to showcasing the end result of our latest Byron Bay metal roofing project.
